Portraits of Life “Only the project which includes the history of local residents allows them to feel at ease at their own home” Neza Cesar, interior designer. A mineiro living in Vitória, Neves Torres discovered painting in 2007, after he had retired as an agricultural worker. “Painting is what I want to do for the rest of my days”, he says. Encouraged by his son, who had helped him with his first strokes, in 2010 he entered his works in the Naïf Biennal of Brazil, held at SESC in Piracicaba, State of São Paulo, and won a prize. These works show life in the countryside and shall be shown as from 11 April at the Estação Art Gallery in São Paulo.
